Contribution Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

This Contribution Policy explains the nature of financial contributions made to UnitedHumans and the conditions that apply to them.

1. Voluntary and non-commercial

Contributions are entirely voluntary and are intended to support independent, reader-funded writing. A contribution is not a purchase, subscription, deposit, loan, or investment, and it creates no expectation of profit, return, goods, or services.

2. Not a tax-exempt donation

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the Website, the publisher is not a registered charitable trust or society, and contributions are not eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961. No tax-exemption receipt is issued.

3. Contributions from outside India

The publisher does not solicit or knowingly accept foreign contributions in a manner requiring registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA). Contributions are intended to come from persons resident in India. If you are contributing from outside India, you are responsible for ensuring your contribution complies with the laws applicable to you.

4. Lawful source

By contributing, you confirm that the funds are from a lawful source, are your own or lawfully available to you, and are not the proceeds of any activity prohibited under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002 or other applicable law.

5. Records and refunds

We keep a record of each contribution for accounting and compliance purposes. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. For any question about a contribution, contact payments@unitedhumans.in.
